UConn Health and UnitedHealthcare Reach Agreement
We are pleased to announce that we have reached a new multi-year agreement with UnitedHealthcare that appropriately reflects the true cost of delivering high-quality medical care to the people of Connecticut.
As a result of this agreement, UnitedHealthcare members can continue to see their trusted UConn Health providers and seek care at UConn John Dempsey Hospital, as they normally would.
As Connecticut’s only public academic medical center, UConn Health plays a critical role in caring for patients across the state, training the next generation of healthcare professionals, advancing research, and serving as a safety net for our communities. The agreement reached with UnitedHealthcare recognizes the value of that mission and the importance of sustaining it on behalf of Connecticut taxpayers.
